Meet Maria, Candly Founder

Candly started from a personal need for calm and creativity.

During a time when I was searching for a little warmth in my everyday life, I began making candles for myself and the people around me. I soon realized that this feeling could be shared.

Each candle is a small story — made with love, detail, and the desire to bring light into every home.

Our story

Candly began in 2022 in Belgium as a small personal project, which traveled with me to Patras and now continues in Athens, where I have my own workshop and create every candle by hand.

I use only 100% plant-based, non-toxic soy wax and alcohol-free fragrances that are safe for children and pets.From the wax pouring and fragrance testing to the labels, photography, and website, every part of the process is done by me — with my husband supporting me behind the camera.

I am inspired by scents and colors, and I love giving them form through labels that reflect the character of each fragrance.I enjoy exploring new combinations and creating small collections that express emotions.

For me, crafting each candle is a moment of inspiration and dedication — a calm ritual that brings together quality, design, and feeling, so that every product can bring warmth and beauty into your space.
